WHAT THE TRIBE IS SAYING

Dr. Dahna Batts

Message from your host

Greetings, I’m Dr. Dahna Batts, physician, certified wellness practitioner, Blue Zones® Advocate, and wine enthusiast.

I design and host retreats centered on holistic well-being, cultural exploration, and meaningful connection. Having previously led retreats in Blue Zones® regions such as Costa Rica and Greece, I am deeply passionate about helping others experience how lifestyle, community, and purpose shape longevity and vitality.

This retreat in Japan offers a unique opportunity to explore the principles of Blue Zones® living through the lens of Japanese culture, where mindfulness, respect for nature, intentional living, and social harmony are woven into everyday life.

My approach blends wellness education, mindful practices, and cultural immersion in ways that feel both restorative and enriching. As a wine educator with WSET Level 1 and 2 certifications, along with Champagne certification, I enjoy guiding tasting experiences that explore not only flavor, but also the story, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions behind each glass.

If you are feeling stretched, burned out, or simply ready to prioritize yourself, this retreat is an invitation to pause, reset, and reconnect. Together we will explore Japan’s traditions, cultivate presence, and create space for reflection, renewal, and joy while building community with women who value wellness, curiosity, and soulful travel.
