Message From The Host
I founded Essence of Ease from my own journey through the complex and often overlooked symptoms of menopause.
This experience, though unique to each individual, uncovered a shared struggle among many women, particularly women of color.
We often reach this stage feeling isolated, having never had 'the talk' about the true breadth of menopause—the emotional upheavals, the physical transformations, and the mental adjustments required.
Attempting to take a break, I sought to step back and process these changes. However, the relentless pace of society and its silent expectations offered little opportunity to do so.
I found myself rushed through my experiences, struggling for space to breathe or fully grasp what was unfolding. This profound sense of solitude is all too common among women of color during this time.
This widespread lack of dialogue and community support inspired me to establish Essence of Ease.
More than just a retreat, Essence of Ease offers a space to realign and reconnect with your mind, body, and soul.
Here, you can pause and embrace the transition into this new phase of life with grace and empowerment.
Getting Here
You will arrive at Phuket International Airport (HKT). We suggest arriving on the earliest flight possible. Airport round trip transportation is provided regardless of what time you arrive and depart during the retreat dates.
Travel Restrictions
We strive to curate the safest experience for our attendees. Should the need arise to reschedule our retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, your payments will be applied to a future retreat.
